「今朝は暖かいよ」
民宿のおばさんに言われて、朝食前に撮影に出かけた
でもやはり、遠野の朝は寒い
パリパリに凍った田んぼ、うっすらと立ちこめる朝露、凛とした朝の空気感
民話の里の茅葺き民家は早朝の冷たい空気を吹き飛ばし写真家を熱くしてくれました。

As I was told by the hostess of the inn, I went shooting before breakfast
Thono is a famous village of folk tales such as Kappa (monster of the river) and Zashiki-warashi (spirit of a child living in an old house).
But Thono is cold in the morning.
Rice paddy frozen in crisp, morning dew which stood up a little, dignified morning air feeling
The thatched folk house of a folktale village blew off the cold air in the early morning and made the photographer hot.
遠野のかやぶき屋根

雪に埋もれそうな石
石の下から力強く生えていたタンポポの花を撮ったのは何年まえか？
今年も撮れるかな？
もうすぐ 春
岩手県遠野市土渕町一の渡にあったかやぶき屋根の民家。
遠野は民俗学者の柳田國男氏の「遠野物語」の舞台で、河童や座敷童子が出てくる話が有名です。
愛らしい妖怪が出てきてもおかしくないような雰囲気があります。
この家は梅雨にも撮影しています。

Private house of the roof which was in Tono city, Iwate prefecture.
Tono is famous for the folklorist Kono Yanagida ‘s “Tono Monogatari” stage, KAPPA and ZAHIKIWARASHI come out.
There is atmosphere that it is not amusing even if lovable MONONOKE comes out.

昭和45年ごろでも、馬そりを見ることは珍しかった
「写真を撮らせて下さい」とのお願いにひとことも言わず
ただ、うなずいて通り過ぎて行った朴訥な人
馬が吐く、大きな真っ白な息が
印象に焼きついた 曲がり屋の風景
