美味しいお米はやっぱり
「はざ」懸け 天日干し
"Haza " is a tool that plants rice. Dry the reclaimed rice on the surface and dry it in the sun. The rice before drying was heavy, including water, and sunning the rice was a hard work requiring a large number of people.
Today, most rice is dried with hot air in a machine. The rice which slowly took time and leaves as rice leaves is rich in starch nutrients until the end, so it seems sweeter and delicious than rice which has been dried by machine.
「稲架(はざ)」とは稲をかける道具です。刈り取った稲をはざにかけて天日干しして乾燥させます。乾燥前の稲は水分を含んて重く、人手が必要な重労働でした。
今では、ほとんどが機械で熱風乾燥させるようですが、稲のままゆっくりと手間暇をかけて乾燥させた米は茎の養分が最後まで米にいきわたるので機械で乾燥させたお米より甘くて美味しいそうです。
