光の季節
蝉の声、祭りの音、
夏休みで遊びに来た孫達の声、
お盆休みで年に一度
顔を会わせる息子や娘達、
民家が一年で一番賑やかになる季節。
田んぼでは稲達が力強く天を指し、
鋭い穂の先に朝露を玉にして光らせる、
強い日差しと爽やかな暑さが
今年の豊作を告げている

In rice field the rice powerfully points to heaven,
Morning dew is on the tip of a sharp ear and it shines,
Strong sunshine and refreshing heat
